What is Community Work?

MatchWorks currently have various Work for the Dole activities available.
Community Work allows job seekers to work in an approved volunteer organisation. Community Work must be of benefit to the community and must be voluntary. This work is overseen by a Community Work Coordinator (MatchWorks).
Both Work for the Dole and Community Work are approved activities for mutual obligation purposes. So while you take part in the activity you can meet your mutual obligation requirements and gain many personal benefits along the way, including training credits.
