Chair

David McArthur

David McArthur is Karingal's longest serving Board Member, first joining in 1980 and in his fourth term as Chair. David is a civil engineer and is employed as a Design Coordinator with the City of Greater Geelong.

Deputy Chair

Peter Colman

Peter Colman was coopted for the Karingal Board in April 2008 to utilise his high level financial and business acumen skills and experience. Peter is a senior finance professional with extensive experience in the energy industry in Australia and Europe.

Rod Payne

Rod Payne has been a member of the Karingal Board since November 2000 and served two terms as Chair. Rod is a Director at Harwood Andrews Lawyers, specialising in business law.

Cheryl Graham

Cheryl Graham has been a member of the Karingal Board since September 1998. Her background in human resources and psychology has brought great depth to the Karingal Board.

Marilyn Blakey

Marilyn Blakey commenced on the Karingal Board in October 2002, after a long career in home and community care services including a position in senior management with the City of Greater Geelong and management of Barwon Carer Respite Centre with Barwon Health. Marilyn was Deputy Chair to March 2007.

Allan Freeman

Allan Freeman has been a member of the Karingal Board since August 1995 and held the position of Treasurer for 10 years up to March 2007.

Tony Ficca

Tony Ficca has been a member of the Karingal Board since 2006. Tony is the Director of Finance at St John of God Hospital and formerly Executive Manager of Finance and Company Secretary at GMHBA.

Mark Seller

Mark Seller joined the Karingal Board in February 2003. Mark has experience as Director of the Australian Business Volunteers, GMHBA, as local Chairman for ACCESS Ministries, plus many years as an executive in the oil and gas industry.

Barry Smith

As a member of the Disability Opportunities Victoria (DOV) Board of Management, Barry Smith joined the Karingal Board in 2009 after the merger of DOV and Karingal. Barry has expertise and experience in employment services, corporate management and disability services.

David Cornell

As a member of the Disability Opportunities Victoria (DOV) Board of Management, David Cornell joined the Karingal Board in 2009 after the merger of DOV and Karingal. David is a practicing accountant (CPA), and has experience in audit/compliance and risk management.

Daryl Starkey

Daryl Starkey has been the CEO of Karingal for nine years commencing in August 2000. His previous leadership positions included CEO of Ambulance Service Victoria - South Western Region (from 1993 to 1999) and CEO of Wakefield Private Hospital in Adelaide (1988 to1992).

General Manager - Karingal Community Living

Robyn Bradshaw

Robyn has been with Karingal for 10 years. She has been General Manager of Karingal Community Living since 2003 and Karalee (Karingal Aged Living) since 2007. Robyn has worked in the disability field throughout her career and has held management roles with the Department of Human Services.

General Manager - MatchWorks

Michael Wasley

Michael has been with Karingal for 14 years. His first appointment was with SupportWorks (now operating as MatchWorks) as Employment Trainer and Employment Counsultant. Michael has been in this role since March 2008 and was previously MatchWorks Operations Manager.

Karen Rainbow

Karen has been with Karingal for 16 years and in her current role since March 2003. Previous to this position Karen worked in the role of Operations Manager for MatchWorks.

Julie Graham

Julie has been with Karingal for 14 years. Her first appointment was with SupportWorks (now operating as MatchWorks) as Employment Consultant. She then moved across to MatchWorks as the start of Job Network in 1998. Julie held the position of General Manager from 2002 to early 2008. Since March 2008 she has been in the role of Corporate Services General Manager.

Manager - Asset and Risk Management

Jeff Gibbons

Jeff has been with Karingal for 23 years and has been seconded into the temporary position of Acting Chief Executive Officer for Disability Opportunities Victoria. Prior to the secondment Jeff held the position of Support Services Manager for five years. Jeff has had a number of management positions within Karingal, including Manager of Mollers Lane Plant Farm and Industries and General Manager of MLI Services since joining Karingal in 1986.

Chief Financial Officer

Lyndelle Zuccolin

Lyndelle has been with Karingal since March 2008. Prior to this Lyndelle was the Financial Controller for DC Shoes Asia Pacific (a part of the Quiksilver group) and previous to that, an auditor with PricewaterhouseCoopers. Lyndelle is a Certified Practising Accountant.
